About

We are a Türkiye-based sourcing and foreign trade company

Founded in 2022 on fifteen years of sector experience; since 2023 we have supported our customers in international markets under the Clef Trade brand. We research manufacturers on the buyer's behalf, run sampling and quality inspection, follow up certification, and organise shipping and customs. You deal not with ten separate companies but with a single team — in four languages, through one point of contact.

Clef Trade is an ASR Group brand.

What we do

We work as the buyer's team in Türkiye

Buying a product from abroad does not end with finding a seller. The real work is finding the right manufacturer, seeing the sample, gathering the documents and getting the goods loaded on time.

Clef Trade is a foreign trade company that takes on the entire sourcing process between international buyers and manufacturers. When a request comes in we draw up the technical specification describing the product, screen manufacturers that meet it, compare price and capacity, get the sample to the buyer, and follow production on site once the order is confirmed.

The work a buyer would struggle to run from their own country stays with us: factory visits, pre-shipment inspection, laboratory analysis, document follow-up, customs and transport arrangements.

In practice this means the buyer works with one point of contact — one contract, one invoice, one channel. When something goes wrong, they do not have to work out who to call.

By managing purchasing, logistics and value analysis we let our customers put their energy into their own core business. With our global partners we source the right product from anywhere in the world.

  • Manufacturer research

Screening manufacturers that meet the specification, comparing price and capacity, checking references.

  • Quality and sampling

Sample dispatch and written approval, independent laboratory analysis, pre-shipment inspection (PSI).

  • Certification

Arranging origin, analysis, health, conformity and free sale certificates according to the destination country.

  • Shipping and customs

Comparing transport modes, container planning, export customs and document flow.

Language of contact

Which languages do we work in?

Correspondence, quotations and contracts — all in the same four languages.

Our team works in Turkish, English, Russian and Arabic . Whichever of these you write your request in, you get a reply in the same language, and the quotation and contract are prepared in it too.

This matters more in foreign trade than it looks: a technical specification, document name or delivery term distorted in translation turns into a dispute later.

When your contact knows both the product and the language, that risk disappears. Our entire site is published in these four languages — product group pages included.

Our phone lines are separated by language — the numbers are on the Contact page.

FAQ

How we work

Questions specific to a product group are on that group's own page; these are company-wide.

If your question is not listed, write to us
Is there a charge for a quotation, and how long does it take?

Price research is free of charge. We do not charge for preparing quotations, screening manufacturers or comparing prices. We earn only from sourcing that actually takes place.

On standard products we give a Within 24 hours price range and estimated lead time. For custom production, products requiring certification, or where comparative quotes from several manufacturers are wanted, this can extend to 3–5 working days ; in that case we tell you on the first day how long it will take.

Steps that carry a cost, such as sample dispatch and independent laboratory analysis, are separate ; the amount is notified in writing in advance and nothing starts without your approval.

What are your contract and payment terms?

Every order is put into a written contract . It covers the product specification, quantity, unit price, delivery terms (Incoterms 2020), payment terms, lead time, packaging and acceptance criteria. We do not load on a verbal agreement.

We work with EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP as delivery terms, and decide together which suits you based on the destination country and your customs position.

The common arrangement on payment is a deposit plus the balance before loading . Depending on the size of the order and the parties' history, a letter of credit (L/C) or documentary collection can also be arranged. On a first transaction a letter of credit is a sensible route, as it protects both the buyer and us.

Does the information I share stay confidential?

The product details, target volume, price expectation and company information in your request go only to our sourcing team . Only the technical detail needed to obtain a quotation is passed to the manufacturer — your identity, target market and price expectation are not shared.

On request we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) . Where a proprietary formula, tooling, design or private label production is involved, we recommend doing this at the start of the discussion.

The principles governing the processing of personal data are set out in our privacy notice .
